IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
The Jazz Under the Jade Vines event scheduled for Saturday 15 December has been cancelled.
Cairns Regional Council advises that the free community music event scheduled on Saturday 15 December for Munro Martin Parklands, including Meet Eat Repeat on Florence Street, will not go ahead.
This event has been cancelled due to predicted weather conditions associated with the movement of Tropical Cyclone Owen.
The official opening gala event inside the Cairns Performing Arts Centre will go ahead as scheduled.
Celebrate the opening of Cairns Performing Arts Centre
Enjoy a free night of music in Munro Martin Parklands with James Morrison alongside vocalist Hetty Kate as well as performances by local musicians.
Also, for the first time ever, Florence Street will be closed between Munro Martin Parklands and the brand new Cairns Performing Arts Centre to celebrate the opening of CPAC.
Join the Meet Eat Repeat crew on Florence Street when they bring an extensive range of pop-up stalls by local restaurants and food vans to create a foodie heaven and catch some free live music at Jazz under the Jade Vines.
With multiple food options, two licensed bars and free entertainment; this will be the perfect space to celebrate the opening of CPAC. Bring along your friends and family, a chair or picnic rug and kick back and enjoy in Cairns style.
