Meet Eat Repeat on Florence

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

The Meet Eat Repeat event scheduled for Saturday 15 December has been cancelled.

Cairns Regional Council advises that the free community music event scheduled on Saturday 15 December for Munro Martin Parklands, Jazz Under the Jade Vines and Meet Eat Repeat on Florence Street, will not go ahead.

This event has been cancelled due to predicted weather conditions associated with the movement of Tropical Cyclone Owen.

The official opening gala event inside the Cairns Performing Arts Centre will go ahead as scheduled.

For the first time ever Florence Street will be closed between Munro Martin Parklands and the brand new Cairns Performing Arts Centre for a significant moment in the history of our community.

Nothing beats celebrating with friends, good food and refreshing drinks so come along and celebrate the opening of CPAC with the Meet Eat Repeat crew. Enjoy an extensive range of gastronomical delights from pop-up stalls by local restaurants and food vans in foodie heaven on Florence Street.

There is a licensed bar, free entertainment and it’s free entry so come along and enjoy happy times, amazing food, good vibes. Then continue to indulge the senses in Munro Martin Parklands at the free music event, Jazz under the Jade Vines with multi-instrumentalist, composer and arranger James Morrison alongside vocalist Hetty Kate and local youth brass band with support from some of our finest local bands.
