Conditions of Entry

Welcome to the Cairns Performing Arts Centre.  To ensure the enjoyment and safety of all patrons and staff, these Conditions of Entry outline the conditions applying to all persons whilst they are at CPAC. By entering the centre, you agree to adhere to the following conditions:

This venue is licensed:

  • Alcohol must not be brought into the venue.
  • Alcoholic beverages must not be taken from the venue.
  • It’s an offence for a minor to purchase or consume alcohol.
  • CPAC reserves the right to refuse service to any unduly intoxicated or disorderly patrons.

Entry Refusal and Prohibited Conduct

Admission refusal may occur under specific conditions:

  • Lack of a valid ticket or proof of concession entitlement
  • Possession of prohibited items or refusal to comply with venue staff instructions
  • Behaviour causing a disturbance or threatening safety

Respectful conduct is essential. Any form of aggressive or anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.

Patrons aged under 15 years must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is restricted to the designated outdoor smoking area only.

Suitable attire and footwear are required throughout your visit.

Bag inspections may occur upon entry and exit; your cooperation is appreciated.

Service animals are the only animals permitted, in accordance with Cairns Regional Council guidelines.

Use of recording devices is subject to approval unless otherwise specified.

Prohibited items include weapons of any kind; and dangerous, hazardous, flammable or illegal items.

Follow the guidance provided by CPAC employees for a pleasant and safe experience.

Any issues impacting your or others' enjoyment and safety should be reported to venue staff promptly.
